Good Morning. First chance I've had to use the Chat. Spoke with J.W. yesterday about tournaments and the annual schedule usually works out with only a couple exceptions. Two main attractions each year are Jurassic event and the "Jambo" (which is now changed hands but is starting to attract a crowd). Personally I've been in the tournament arena for (47 years) and understand how club scheduling and tournament attendance is affected by these major events. Scheduling will most always have to deal with what pleases some will not always please others, but we who do the scheduling put forward our bests efforts making things work out. The Piedmont club tries its best to work with other club's scheduling, referencing our neighbor Clendening Fishing Club, especially when they are hosting an OPEN or special event tournament. Like wise they do the same for our organization. A problem this year involving a night tournament has arisen where the hours are 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Aug 10 and how the hours may limit members of the Piedmont Club enough time to complete the night tournament, and be prepared to go to the OPEN tournament on Sunday which starts at 7:00 AM! I have heard already this past week that a few will not be able to fish the night tourney and be restfully and equipment prepared to fish the annual "SHOOT OUT membership drive at Clendening Lake. My suggestion for a possible cure is to change the night tournament hours to 4:00 PM to Midnight next season. It is too late to do that this year without a lot of calls and postings....And many thanks to Tom Bingham for endeavoring in the realm of website work.

Hope to see you all at the annual schedule meeting after the tournament Sept 14th, 2019.
